NACE Foundation Announces Legacy Tree Campaign

On October 27, 2015, the NACE Foundation unveiled their much anticipated new giving campaign, the Legacy Tree, as an alternative to the brick campaign (2009-2014) which was impacted by renovations to the outdoor space at the Elcometer building, NACE International’s training center in Houston, Texas. A breakfast reception, complete with ribbon-cutting ceremony, was held to launch the campaign, as well as to thank our 2009-2014 brick campaign donors for their past support.

The NACE Foundation’s Legacy Tree is beautifully showcased in view of thousands of students, NACE instructors, and guests who visit the training facility each year. Items on the tree include polished copper, silver, and gold leaves, surrounded by branches and bases carved from rich mahogany wood. Butterflies, acorns, and stones also provide an additional means of recognition and add to the Legacy Tree’s appeal and charm.

NACE Foundation President, Keith Perkins, cuts the ribbon to officially launch the NACE Foundation’s Legacy Tree Campaign.

This new campaign gives donors the opportunity to memorialize or pay tribute to friends, family, or colleagues in a meaningful and eye-catching way, while supporting the NACE Foundation in our efforts to inspire the future workforce to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
